We want you to love every gift from Gift Cafe. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right. Please read our Returns & Refunds policy carefully before raising a request.

1. Eligibility for Returns
You may return an item within 7 days of delivery if it meets the following conditions:
- The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition.
- The item is in its original packaging with all tags, accessories, and documentation intact.
- The item is not listed under the non-returnable categories below.
- A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) is provided.
We reserve the right to reject a return if the item does not meet the above conditions upon inspection.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Customised or personalised products (e.g., engraved items, printed names, custom hampers) — unless they arrived damaged or defective.
- Perishable goods such as food, chocolates, flowers, or fresh items.
- Sealed items that have been opened (e.g., skincare, candles once lit).
- Digital products or gift vouchers/e-cards once redeemed.
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or sold at a special clearance price.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@giftcafe.in with:
- Your order number.
- Clear photographs of the damaged or defective item and the packaging.
- A brief description of the issue.
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping for eligible cases.
4. How to Initiate a Return
- Email support@giftcafe.in with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
- Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
- If approved, you will receive return instructions including the return address.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it within 3 days of approval.
- Share the return tracking details with us once shipped.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damage, or defect).
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome within 2 business days. If approved:
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- For UPI and net banking payments, funds typically reflect within 3–5 business days.
- For card payments, it may take up to 7–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
If you paid via Cash on Delivery (COD), refunds will be processed via bank transfer. Please provide your bank account details when submitting your return request.
6. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, please initiate a return for a refund and place a new order separately.
7. Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placement provided they have not been dispatched. To cancel, email us at support@giftcafe.in with your order number. Customised orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 3–5 business days.
