At Gift Cafe, we take great care in packaging and delivering your gifts on time. Here's everything you need to know about our shipping process.

1. Order Processing
Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays). Orders placed before 12:00 PM IST on a business day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM will be dispatched the next business day.
For customised or personalised orders, please allow an additional 1–2 business days for production before dispatch. You will receive a confirmation email once your order is dispatched, along with tracking details.
2. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or high-demand seasons.
3. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight:
- Free shipping on all orders above ₹999.
- Orders below ₹999 incur a flat shipping fee of ₹60–₹120 depending on your location.
- Expedited or same-day delivery options (where available) may carry additional charges shown at checkout.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email or SMS with a tracking number and a link to the courier's tracking page. You can also track your order from the My Orders section in your Gift Cafe account.
Tracking updates may take up to 12 hours to reflect after dispatch.
5. Delivery Attempts
Our courier partners will attempt delivery up to 2 times at the address provided. If delivery is unsuccessful (e.g., recipient unavailable, incorrect address), the package may be held at the nearest courier facility for up to 5 days before being returned to us.
Re-delivery charges may apply if a second delivery attempt is requested after a failed first attempt. Please ensure the delivery address and contact number are accurate when placing your order.
6. Gifting and Special Instructions
All Gift Cafe orders are packaged with care in our branded gift packaging. If you would like to include a personalised gift message, add it in the “Gift Message” field during checkout — it's complimentary.
Price tags and invoices are excluded from gift shipments by default to keep the surprise intact. A digital invoice is emailed to the purchaser separately.
7. Serviceable Areas
We currently ship across India. International shipping is not available at this time. If your pin code is not serviceable, you will be notified at checkout.
For deliveries to remote or difficult-to-reach areas, additional time and charges may apply. We will notify you if this affects your order.
8. Delays and Force Majeure
While we strive to meet all delivery timelines, Gift Cafe is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, public holidays, extreme weather, or courier network disruptions. In such cases, we will communicate proactively and work to minimise delays.
9. Lost or Undelivered Orders
If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, please check the tracking link first. If the tracking shows no update for more than 3 business days, contact us at support@giftcafe.in and we will investigate with the courier on your behalf.
